WHAT IS FUTBOL!?

FUTBOL! is a free football game you play in your browser. There's nothing to download and no account to make — type a nickname, press play, and you're in. You control one player on the pitch: run, jump, tackle, and kick. Shots charge up while you hold the mouse button, and you can curve them while they fly. Score, celebrate, play again.

FUTBOL! is a work in progress — you're playing an early version, and online multiplayer is on the way.

How to play

  • Move with WASD, look with the mouse, sprint with Shift (watch your stamina).
  • Walk into the ball to dribble it at your feet — or hold RMB to charge a harder dribble push.
  • Hold LMB to charge a kick, release to shoot; move the mouse sideways while charging to curve it.
  • Jump with Space and tap LMB near a high ball to header it; MMB juggles.
  • LCtrl slide tackles — when the ball is high it's a bicycle kick, and as the goalkeeper it's a diving save (press G to jump into keeper practice).
  • F picks the ball up (then LMB throw, RMB drop kick), G starts goalkeeper practice, C swaps camera, E calls for a pass, Q + 1–6 emotes.
  • On phones and tablets: your left thumb moves (push past the ring to sprint), dragging the right side of the screen looks around, and the KICK / PASS / JUMP buttons do the rest — hold KICK and slide sideways to curve the shot. A fourth button changes with the moment: slide tackle, bicycle kick, goalkeeper dive, or pick up.

Is it free?

Yes, completely. You don't pay anything and you don't make an account.

Can I play with friends? (upcoming)

Soon — multiplayer is a work in progress. You'll be on the pitch with other people, so send your friends the link and play together. Today you play a full 7v7 match with bot teammates and opponents.

What do I need to play?

A normal browser like Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari — on your computer, phone, or tablet. That's it.

Does it work on phones?

Yes. On a phone or tablet you get touch controls: a floating stick to run, drag anywhere on the right side to look around, and buttons to kick, pass, and jump. Landscape is comfiest.
